Concept sketch
Hey everyone, here's a sketch I did for my entry for the Ladies of Literature vol. 2 book. There are a bunch of small things I'm going to tweak with the final composition, and the submitted entry will also be in color, but I'm reasonably happy with this. :)

Iron Giant Polaroids by Hogarth
These were all done for a mini tribute gallery show in "A Little Known Shop" a couple of months back. Curated by the amazingly talented Jessie 'Velociraptor' Greenberg. I had a ton of fun making these, I've always wanted to try a polaroid look!

'The Stars My Destination' Sketches
Some composition explorations for one of my favorite science fiction novels of all time, The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester. Sketched at my local Starbucks last night 'cause I'd forgotten the keys to my house >v> Regular ink gel pen, pentel brush pens, and the "light black" aquash waterbrush pen (also from Pentel). I added the stars and the lens flares in Photoshop after scanning.

I should really start updating more...
For now have a sketch of Astrid and Stormfly from HTTYD2! Man I can't wait for this movie, the first How to Train Your Dragon is probably my favorite ever!
Whenever episodes of Ultimate Spider-Man season 3 start coming out, I'll be sure to update this blog with examples of my revisions :D 2013 was a really tough year for me for several reasons, but I'm looking forward to another challenging year in 2014.
If you'd like to see more work from me, I actually post much more often on my Tumblr and deviantART pages ^^ Thanks everyone!
