'The Stars My Destination' Sketches

Some composition explorations for one of my favorite science fiction novels of all time, The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester. Sketched at my local Starbucks last night 'cause I'd forgotten the keys to my house >v> Regular ink gel pen, pentel brush pens, and the "light black" aquash waterbrush pen (also from Pentel). I added the stars and the lens flares in Photoshop after scanning.
